    Once more

....it has been long long and even longer but I'm still around  . It is just that I have been very busy with trying to learn Japanese, watch anime and doramas, read and sew/knit. Somehow I think that juggling so much has meant that I haven't gotten a lot done and it is true too.
Anyways, I'll be flying on Tuesday to Osaka, which makes me so extatic that at the moment I don't even understand how nervous and excited I am. It shall be an adventure, especially since I am going alone!

    However, ganbarimasu!!!!

    Still alive?...!!

Hiya, yeah, I'm still alive and kicking but have had no time to form any coherent blog entries.
    To the news:
    1) I'm going to Osaka in April . I'm hontoni hontoni ureshii!! For 8 nights. I'll be in Osaka for most of the time but Kyoto and Nara are in plans as one-day trips both.
*learning Japanese...(or trying to)...in truth...a bit* This has accounted for some of the being-busy situation.

    2) I was in Vilnius last week for 3 days and made some pics. All in all the trip was fun, even if I would have preferred more time for exploring on our own, they had most of our time filled with (kinda weird) stuff. It was a company bonus-trip, so it figures of course. But I did manage to nip 1.5 hours before we boarded the bus to drive back (yeah, that was DEATH! 10 hours there on Thursday but 12 back on Saturday because we had to drop of my colleagues in Tartu...and Pärnu...and only then was it Tallinn) and visited my penfriend Starlin's home street and got pics done at her house . It was sad we could not see since you're in London, Star!!
All in all we walked through the Old Town a few times when we went eating, went to the bookfair (to my utter happiness they had a Japanese box!!! My heaven!), then for 2 hours to the biggest mall in the Baltics, Akropolis (that was boring since I was not out to shop), then 40 km out of Vilnius to see a work thing that does not concern our work directly but I guess they thought it was interesting...hmm... And then to Trakai, which we could not get in since we came too late, so we strolled around it and went back. The next morning we went with a colleague to hunt for Starlin's house, came back on a trolleybus(! - we were so happy to have experienced real life in Vilnius too ) and took the bus back to Tallinn through all those other places .

    But onwards to the pics:

My phone takes nice pics in sunshine but bad when it's cloudy and horrible when it's dark but I had to put this up to show to Star that I was here !
    Vilnius University

    Archcathedral

    Cathedral tower

Old and new, new and old! It looks good, better than it does in Tallinn.

    Gediminas Tower

Bookfair and the Japanese Foundation box, I was totally saved by this box since the others were not horribly interesting if don't know Lithuanian. Most perfect was the exact part of Totoro that they had playing......."siin ka pole!"...

    Now to the lovely Trakai:

And to last but definitely not least to Kanjani fans - Trakai has very colourful buildings....that form a Kanjani Street of Ryo's, Uchi's and Okura's house side by side.

Lol, the roof if pink, btw.

Hmm.... Nice, I should have looked for the Master Key under the doormat.

    Look here, Star!

Oh, and pretty much the last thing I saw and went nuts from excitement was the realisation that I had the door to Osaka under the hotel window...now why did I not use it!!???

    Yatta?!

I just might have fit most of the pieces floating around in my head together by the aid of the first ep of Last Friends! At least right now, the new ideas reconcile me with some things that I was afraid would be too used and cute. Why did I not think of twisting things around so much before, that could be the perfect touch to make it once more interesting to write and read....Wow! I am stunned as always by these moments of sudden inspiration when a small detail from somewhere puts the puzzle together. All it took was an abusive (but gorgeous ) guy in a drama series!!
    CLAMP has truly ruined me!

    Ideas for Christmas

They keep coming and this year most seem to have to do with knitting. I had a really long knitting period that was ended by the onslaught of sewing...but right now it looks like it will be knitting again. I have already agreed with one friend that I'll make her a pair of socks...am thinking of wristwarmers for another one...and a more complicated idea for a third friend. The last is sewing a plushie of Kaname (from Vampire Knight), I have never made a plushie in my life and I suck at sewing in small scale but perhaps, just perhaps I will be able to pull it off when I gather my courage and actually start.

    *needs to start writing*
